It’s me, hi 👋🏼 I’m the problem it’s me It’s me, hi 👋🏼 I’m the problem it’s me 👋🏼 And the problem is…an addiction to travel! There’s been a lot of coming and going around here lately so I wanted to do a quick intro into who I am and what you guys can expect here (and if you don’t like it- don’t let the screen door hit ya where the universe split ya😉) Here goes 🥂 I’m Sydney! I stepped on board my first plane in 2015 in a once in a lifetime trip to spend the summer in Italy. A year later, I went back, only planning to stay three months (I ended up staying a year) During that time I started this teeny tiny little travel blog called The Boho Traveller. You see, I’ve always loved bohéme ideals, and my ancestors are from Bohemia, fitting like a brand new pair of leather boots ready to be worn in. I started the blog because everyone i knew back at home kept asking me how I managed to move to Italy! The answer was quite simple: not easily 😂 While I lived in Italy I worked in the office for a student travel company in social media and marketing. I also worked part time as a tour guide. 😁 Safe to say, I caught the travel bug hard. I moved back to Florida, where I am from, and continued to travel every chance I got. Morocco, Iceland, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Alaska, Canada, the UK…and the list goes on. The blog and my instagram account grew, and I had this feeling I could do something more! That’s when I joined the team @explorateurtravel - several people sent me a post that @jennifermjacob was hiring and it seemed like the perfect fit at the perfect time. When Covid hit I took to yachting as the times were tough, but if you follow my newsletter, you know that after 3 summer season, I’ve retired from a life at sea 🌊 Last year I only brought on new clients for half the year and brought home more money than I was earning in yachting. It was a sign it was time to leave. I went on over 20 trips, booked over 60 client trips, and won an award. In attended two industry trade shows and went on four FAM trips! There is so much more to the story, but instagram caps my character count…but you can expect more travel, more adventure, and more luxury coming your way soon! #TheBohoTraveller #RuggedLuxury

The number one question I get asked is probably “what is your favorite place you’ve ever travelled to?” And honestly, I don’t have kids, but I imagine it’s like trying to pick your favorite child. Nearly impossible. There are a few destinations I keep gravitating back to - Italy, Scotland, Greece, Morocco to name a few, but there are some places I truly loved I may never return to - Peru or Hungary for example. So for now, I don’t have a lock tight answer. Maybe once I’ve been everywhere. But not yet. For now, I’ll refrain from picking! How do you respond to this question?

Portugal (first time!) Morocco - second & third time Spain - hello home! USA - Florida, Colorado, LA, New York, & Boston Greece - I’ve spent months in Greece 😅 Turkey - second time! Scotland - third visit Denmark - first visit Italy - I used to live here! France - second visit St Maarten - first time in the Caribbean Part of all these travels included the following: 🧳2 travel shows ✈️4 fam trips 🥇1 award Some of my favorite bucketlist experiences: 🚂 @vsoetrain 🐺 Dog sledding 🌊 Wild swimming ⛷️ skiing 🐎 2 dressage presentations And to top it all off, there were bottles of wine, delightful dinners and many new friends. 2022 was such an amazing year in both my personal 2022 was such an amazing year in both my personal and business growth. I didn’t plan any travel for half the year, I was away at another job and focusing on my in-travel clients, and I am still blown away by the numbers. Crazy to think that 6 years ago this was just a little blog started because everyone kept asking me how I managed to move to Florence 🧡 couldn’t have asked for a better full circle 🥂 cheers to a new year and many more new beginnings and many more pleasant surprises from hard work and a product of passion #TheBohoDoesScotland
Paris December 2022 VS Paris December 2016 Can yo Paris December 2022 VS Paris December 2016 Can you tell which one is happier? 😝 All I can tell you is that these are two very different women in each of these photos. Sure, the core of each is the same, but the life lived in a span of six years, has altered the world of the woman in these photos. The 2016 version of me went to Paris with less than €250 in her bank account for an entire weekend, completely solo. She was recently single, and couldn’t even dream up the later version. She had just started a blog and was hungry for the world around her, but unsure where to begin. 2022 sydney went to Paris with much more money than that in her pocket (thankfully) and was on her way for one of the most authentic travel experiences ever on board the @vsoetrain & to attend the world’s leading luxury travel event in Cannes. She isn’t just hungry for the world, she loves it and those she’s with. And while they are two totally different people, I would never have been one without the other. Without the dreams and tiny blog that started in 2016, I wouldn’t have had the passion or the drive to reach where I am at the end of 2022. And without the 2016 version of me, I wouldn’t now possess the experience to tell you to NEVER throw away your Paris metro tickets, lest you be robbed of your last remaining euros by the French police 😅 Always remembering this beautiful life is about ~balance~ Happy holidays ✨#TheBohoDoesFrance

Maybe I’m a romantic, but it transports you not only in space, but in time- allowing you to glimpse into a generation not quite forgotten, but perhaps disregarded.
